Q: How does this thing work?
A: We give you a list of our sponsors and their websites and you find the Bags-O-Candy hidden on their sites. The websites will be on-line stores, etsy pages, hyena carts or other websites. No icons will be hidden on Facebook pages. Once you find the bags-o-candy, copy the URLs onto your form at www.mamaandruby.com. Once you have found all the hidden bags-o-candy you will hit the submit button (double check them you only get one entry!) We'll check your form and all complete and correct forms will be entered into the daily drawing AND the Grand Prize drawing. It's as easy as that.
Q: How long do I have to find all the bags-o-candy?
A: The hunt begins at 9:00 am EST on Thursday October 27, 2011 and ends at 9 pm EST on Sunday October 30, 2011.
Q: Where do I find the registration form to participate?
A: The form can be found on www.mamaandruby.com.
Q: Can I start early?
A: No! The bags-o-candy will not be placed on our sponsors website until 9am EST on Thursday October 27, 2011.
Q: How do I win a prize?
A: All correct submissions submitted by 9:00 pm EST will be entered to win that day’s prize pack. Daily winners will be announced at 9:30 pm daily during the hunt. All correct submissions entered over the course of the hunt will be entered to win the grand prize pack and will be announced on Sunday at 9:30 pm. You have the chance to win 2 prizes!
Q: Can I pick my prizes?
A: Sorry, no. But we promise you will win a big ole box of awesomeness no matter which prize pack you receive.
Q: What if I can’t find a bag-o-candy?
A: You can purchase a Mama and Ruby coupon book for $5 on our website. Then, you can use the code “coupon book” in place of one icon. A free pass AND discounts to our sponsor’s stores. You can’t lose! Please note: You only get one free pass this year, use it wisely.
Q: If one of my URL’s is incorrect, will you let me know?
A: Sorry, no. We receive way too many submissions to contact each person individually. Just take your time, check your work and submit a correct form.
Q: Where can I find hints?
A: We will occasionally post hints on the Mama and Ruby Facebook page. You may not solicit hints from sponsors or other hunters Hunters you may NOT give hints or the exact location of icons. We will disqualify you if we become aware of such cheating.
Q: Some sponsors are harder to find than others. Why?
A: Sponsors are allowed to place their icon based on their level of sponsorship. It goes as follows:

Friendly Ghost – 2 clicks away from homepage
Scarecrow – 3 clicks away from homepage
Great Pumpkin – 4 clicks away from homepage
Sponsors are listed on our website by category, so that should give you some point of reference to find their icon.
Q: It’s 2am and I have a question! Why isn’t anyone answering me?!
A: Because it’s 2 am. We are available and happy to answer your questions between the hours of 9am and 9pm EST and after you have scoured the website and FAQs to find your answer.
Q: I’m really frustrated. Can I yell at you to make myself feel better?
A: Sorry, no. We reserve the right to remove cranky hunters from the hunt. Be nice, play fair and have fun!
